The area is beautiful and the retreat is wonderful.

Susan was a wonderful owner—friendly and welcoming. The room could have had a bowl, plate, and cutlery, but that’s a minor issue.

The balcony looked out over a stream, and the retreat was surrounded by trees and birdsong. Owner Sue was a delight, making us feel at home and giving us local takeaway numbers. The road up to the retreat was a bit challenging, but manageable in daylight.

A lovely retreat in a lovely location with beautiful surroundings and a quiet atmosphere; Sue was a fantastic host who went above and beyond, always ready to help and making us feel warmly welcome. It was a relaxing time with a running stream and beautiful bird song. There was nothing I didn’t like.
