Ideally located for fishing, cycling, and gliding, it's a 2-minute drive from Hot Tubs Omarama and Omarama Glider Airport, and 20 minutes from Lake Aviemore, with BBQ facilities and a large outdoor grass area.

The location was great, the room was nice with new facilities, and we got everything we needed for our short stay.

The motel units were perfect for a night’s stopover, especially for those on the Alps‑to‑ocean bike trails with bike stands at every unit; the motels were literally across the road from the beautiful hot pools, and dinner was at the pub—about a 50 m walk. Breakfast at the Wrinkly Ram was fantastic!

It was quiet with no road noise and the bed was comfortable, though the fridge could use more milk 😂.

I really loved our stay there—so much nicer than expected. The newly renovated room had a kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and stove, and the in‑room laundry machine was a big plus!
