The staff were remarkable and welcoming, very available, kind and courteous. The breakfast was excellent! The location, close to my internship site, is simply perfect! The oppressive heat at the start of my stay had nothing to do with the hotel’s comfort. They offered a hotel fan, but it was ineffective. After two days we got used to it, but it was hard to rest at night in those conditions. Shower: the hot water was SCORCHING! causing a slight burn the first time, but nothing serious. Afterwards, you have to be careful not to touch the hot water tap under the shower. The sink was very small, but adequate.

Quite passable. Dirty and the shower didn't work.

The hotel is organized and the bath towels were changed every day as described in the information. The neighborhood is very quiet and has traditional markets – clothes, electronics, shoes, etc. – in the square in front of the hotel on some days of the week. The hotel was really close to the train station and, even though it wasn't in the centre of Paris, it was easy to get to the main tourist spots. The receptionists were courteous and ready to help. The hotel had no fan or air‑conditioning. Given the intense heat wave that hit Paris during our stay, it was impossible to sleep comfortably in the room, so we kept the windows open at night. However, because we were on the second floor and there was a bar on the terrace, the noise carried on until late, severely affecting our rest. Also, on market days, the stalls were set up very early in the morning, creating noise and activity that further hindered sleep. Thus, the lack of proper climate control, combined with constant external noise, negatively impacted our experience and the comfort we expected.
