The views were great, the room was spacious and comfy, and we could relax on the sofa while reading and chatting; the windows opened onto the canals and offered views from all sides, and everything we wanted to see was super convenient. The welcome was very good. The city was busy and noisy, the stairs were steep and challenging, especially with large luggage.

The location and the apartment were great; the only downside was the stairs at the beginning, but that’s unavoidable if you want to experience a typical house in central Amsterdam.

The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance, and tram stops were easily accessible for those who don’t want to walk; there were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. It was fine for us, but I wouldn’t recommend it for people with mobility issues because the 5th floor and steep stairs are tough.

The location was good, but the furnishings, the mobile air‑conditioner, and everything else felt old and unkempt; the fridge was dirty and dripped.

The staff gave a great welcome, the apartment occupies the entire top floor with a view over the flower market on the Singel canal and a bedroom at the back, and the spot is very central; we liked having a washing machine. The staircase is very steep and traditional, so it’s not suitable for people with mobility issues or for heavy luggage unless you’re strong. We would stay there again. However, the property didn’t address our security concerns, so we had to lock away our valuables every time. Other guests walked into the apartment (we were lucky to be there) because the lock code was the same as the other flat; someone came to fix the issue right away but left the same code in place. When asked, the owner focused on the honesty of their team, ignoring that they can’t guarantee the honesty of other guests.
