Jivana Resort in Kuta Lombok offers tranquil accommodation amidst a tropical landscape with shady palm trees and fish ponds. The resort features air-conditioned rooms with 50-inch LED TVs, personal safes, and coffee/tea making facilities. The pool, comfy beds, lovely setting, helpful staff, and the tortoises were all great, and the food was good too. It got a bit noisy toward the end of the week because of a nearby nightclub and a mosque. The hotel isn’t aging well, but that’s factored into the excellent price.

The staff were super friendly, and we had a wonderful time, especially since they were very kind to our baby. The room was spacious, the pool was great, and we were often the only guests (the hotel is small). The only drawback was that the bathroom and wardrobe were in a separate room; it’s nice, but there are a lot of mosquitoes, so you get bitten often, and clothes can get stuck in the wardrobe if you put them there.

The pool area wasn’t crowded, and the surroundings—including the garden and pool—were peaceful and close to Main Street.

The pool area is a dream, and the turtles on the property are just great.

The location is great. The garden hosts amazing tortoises, quail, and iguanas. It’s quiet, peaceful, and the staff are friendly. The bungalow is superb, and breakfast is delicious with a wide selection.
