The location was spot‑on – right under the Miaoling metro stop (end of line 11) and only about ten minutes on foot to both the beach and the shopping centre. The room was tiny but managed to accommodate our family of four without feeling cramped. Unfortunately there was no cookware at all, the kitchen stayed dirty the whole eight days, we only saw the trash taken out and got a towel change once, and the hosts didn’t speak any English, which made simple requests a hassle.

Our stay turned into a nightmare: the inner‑room door handle came off, locking our five‑ and three‑year‑old kids inside and leaving them scared. The kitchen cabinets were filthy, the bathroom floor was flooded and essentially unusable, and the window couldn’t be closed because its handle was broken. Reaching the property owner didn’t help at all – we got no response.
