The view of the pyramids was fantastic and the host was sensational – extremely helpful with organizing the program and arranging transfers, never refusing a request and always doing it with a smile. The huge terrace was the highlight of the property, offering a glimpse of the bustling Cairo life and the pyramids. What really bothered us was the cleanliness: we knew it wasn’t a luxury hotel, but the malt wasn’t washed and we couldn’t flush the bathroom tiles without pouring water from a bucket. Two bed linens were missing as well.

The whole team exceeded our expectations. I booked three rooms for three nights for six people, and our Cairo exploration started from there. The host was very helpful in every way, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the reservation turned out to be a great decision. The listing still shows very old photos.

The location was good, but the take‑away dinner and breakfast, the terrace rooms in a condominium with no guard, the shower without a box, the wrinkled sheets, and the poor cleanliness were disappointing.

The host is friendly and the breakfast and dinner are very good, but when we arrived we were told the room wouldn’t be ready until 23 h and we were charged the full price anyway, so the value is only average. The place wasn’t very clean, the water temperature kept changing, there’s no terrace like in the photo, and the view of the pyramid is blocked by the building behind it.
