“Séjour trop décevant au vu des commentaires et des photos vues sur booking”
The view from the hotel was very pretty, and if you get a room like the ones in the photos, it can be a beautiful experience, though my perception was different. The managers were also very friendly. I even asked them for breakfast to take with me during my climb of Mount Agung. The hotel is conveniently located about 30 minutes by car from the departure point on the Pura Pasar Agung side. The restaurant was also very good. The rooms were not at all what we expected; we had two rooms, one had a closed, tiny bathroom with the toilet in the shower, not as the photos suggested. The second had an open, large, lovely bathroom but it opened onto the restaurant, which could be intrusive in terms of privacy. Both rooms had private pools, quite small for a two‑person room, but that wasn’t the biggest issue. The water level dropped day by day; we mentioned it at reception and the only response was “that’s normal.” I’m sorry, but we don’t find that normal. It’s the most expensive hotel of our trip and the most disappointing. When you book a hotel with a pool, you expect to enjoy it after your visits. Instead, it felt more like a footbath.
