“This was one of my best vacations.”
The location was excellent. In fact, The Grey Guesthouse was perfectly situated for walking into town or taking public transport.
“Не стоит своих денег. За 5$ было бы нормально, за 10$- очень плохо.”
The hotel is not worth its price; the maximum they can charge is $5. The air conditioner is broken, only a fan works. The room feels dark and gloomy, and there are cockroaches. There is no hair dryer, no toilet paper, and no hand towel. The toilet has a huge spiderweb with grime, showing it hasn't been cleaned for at least a few months. It needs improvement.
“No aconsejable”
It’s in the center. I only stayed one night and a few hours in total. The rooms are in complete disrepair, and the furniture is already… I think even a coat of paint would give it a new look. There were cockroaches and hair on the sheets. There are several floors without an elevator and no hot shower.
The place was in a good spot, but the twin fan room had one fan that didn’t work.
“Not worth it. Avoid unless you are very desperate.”
The private room had its own bathroom and two bottles of drinking water were supplied daily. The guesthouse sits near the Main Road and shops. The room stayed dirty even after I asked it to be cleaned twice during my stay. The bed was infested with bedbugs; my body was covered in bug bites and I fell very ill. The owner demanded $40 for a Proof of Accommodation Letter, which I needed to extend my Cambodian Tourist Visa. When I refused, he pretended not to understand English and would not give me any written proof that I was staying at the guesthouse, preventing me from extending my visa.
