It was okay. It is very far from Göreme. The rooms are damp and cold, and the bathrooms smell.

I stayed at this hotel and found it comfortable and clean, but the price/quality ratio really disappointed me, mainly because of the breakfast. I’ve tried breakfast at many hotels, but this one feels like the first time I’ve seen such a sparse and poorly thought‑out spread. The issue isn’t just cutting costs on ingredients; it’s a complete lack of professional kitchen standards. For example, the eggs are only boiled—no fried eggs or omelettes. Seriously? With a not‑tiny room rate, guests should expect at least a basic selection of hot breakfast dishes. I was also surprised by the huge variety of jams, which seemed nice until I realized they were only offered with plain bread. Is it really that hard to make simple pancakes or crepes? Eggs, omelettes, pancakes are not gourmet items that double the kitchen budget; they’re the most basic items for a decent hotel breakfast. That’s why the situation feels absurd: the hotel doesn’t need huge extra costs—it needs a kitchen staff member who knows what a normal breakfast should be. When a hotel charges a relatively high price, it automatically raises customer expectations. You can’t charge for good service and then serve “boiled egg, bread, and jam” as enough. The worst part is that fixing this would be so easy. Adding a few simple hot dishes would completely change the impression of the stay. Right now, the breakfast undermines all the other positives of this hotel, so I can’t recommend it—just because of breakfast. I strongly advise the owners to focus on kitchen organization and the professional level of staff. With the current room rate, guests deserve far more than what’s offered.

The overall vibe of the place was nice, but as soon as we entered the room an unpleasant odor hit us; the bathroom smelled terribly like a drain, the toilet hadn’t been flushed (despite a cleaning note) and there was still a gift left by the previous guest, plus the soap dispenser was empty. When we complained about the bad smell, two staff members came in and sprayed a fragrance in the bathroom and poured chemicals into the drains. One of them seemed annoyed that we complained, walked in, and I didn’t hear a greeting or a goodbye from him. After he left, we could only enter the bathroom with our shoes on because everything was moved. Then the room smelled like drains plus chemicals. With kids, this is basically unacceptable. At least we only stayed for a few hours.
