“Надо сделать простое меню в вечернем ресторане или хотя бы в номер.”
The hotel is stunningly beautiful in a breathtaking location. The architecture, room décor, spa area, breakfasts, balcony—everything was gorgeous. The shower in the room was luxurious! The lobby and common areas were pleasant. They handed out tickets for both lifts for the entire stay. The toiletries were great, and there was even a hiking backpack in the room. The staff were friendly, and the daily aperitif was free. Food, except for breakfast, was lacking. The hotel sits on a mountain, and there are no other restaurants nearby except those in the hotel itself. You’d have to go down to Lanu, which isn’t very convenient. One hotel restaurant operates during the day and was decent, but we spent a long time in the mountains and didn’t eat there. In the evening only the main restaurant is open, with a very elaborate menu—tasty but no simple food at all. I wanted pasta, but the menu offered only tiny, expensive appetizers and the same tiny, elaborate dishes. On my second night I couldn’t hold back and asked the waiter if they had any simple food. They then prepared pasta from the kids’ menu (I regret not asking earlier). I think they should add a page of simple dishes to the main menu, even if it’s from the kids’ menu. I respect the chef’s desire to surprise, especially since the food is tasty, but we’re athletes and after a day of mountain running we don’t want surprises, just more food.
