“Плохо, нет парковочных мест, слабый кондиционер”
The bathroom was fine, but everything else left a lot to be desired.

I liked that I could extend my stay and tweak the booking, plus the place was quiet; the linens felt a bit worn yet still comfy.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the 24‑hour reception was excellent.

The room’s spaciousness, effective air conditioning, and large, comfortable bathroom made the stay pleasant and clean overall. However, the Google Maps motorcycle route is wrong—following it doesn’t lead to the hotel, so you must choose the walking path, which makes finding the place tough; I wouldn’t advise beginners on motorcycles due to the difficult access. There’s no dedicated motorcycle parking, so I left my bike outside for two nights, which felt inconvenient and unsafe. Also, no welcome drink or complimentary water was offered; we had to buy water elsewhere, and when we brought drinks in, we felt uneasy about drinking them on the premises, as if being watched. These factors made the stay less comfortable than it could have been, even though the room itself was spacious and cozy.

The staff were always there, day and night, and the family was genuinely warm and welcoming. They assigned us a ground‑floor family room right in front of the pool. The room was huge, but the shower leaked; we were told about it immediately and fixed it by putting a bucket underneath to keep the bathroom dry. The bed felt a bit firm, yet I never woke up with back pain. The place is very quiet, accessible only by a narrow side street, so you can get there on foot or by scooter. At night you only hear nature, and we finally slept peacefully without traffic noise. The pool is a delight on hot Ubud days. Unfortunately, the rice fields in the view have disappeared compared to the photos, and now you see a rainforest instead—still pretty good. We stayed for a week and it was truly relaxing, surrounded by the scent of flowers and a rainbow of colors (the family really treasures their orchids). Breakfast was generous, with banana crepes, plenty of fruit, and everything else was excellent. Thanks for the wonderful stay! The first few days had a slight mildew smell, a common Bali issue, but keeping the door open a few hours a day cleared it. In the evenings, many mosquitoes appear; they light a mosquito coil each night, but you still need insect spray.
