“Amazing stay in a beautifully restored room”
The refurbished property was beautiful, with stunning rooms that were modernly designed and a lovely bath in our room. From check‑in, we felt very welcome and received a complimentary drink. Service was amazing all the way through. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant, which we highly recommend, and breakfast was also very good. We would definitely return!
“The Merchant's Yard is an absolute gem!”
Communication before our stay was exemplary, and from the moment we arrived the staff were extremely welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We even had our own parking space, clearly marked with our surname—a lovely touch. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. Dinner at the restaurant was delightful, complementing an already excellent stay. It’s genuinely difficult to find anything that could have been improved. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending The Merchant's Yard.
Clean well laid out and friendly

We spent a fantastic night at the Merchant Yard with my wife, our second visit, and the rooms were fabulous with beds that were incredibly comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and dinner at the restaurant was amazing. The decor throughout was lovely, and we’re definitely coming back. Thank you 😊
