We were greeted warmly by Emese, who asked if we wanted dinner and cooked for us, giving us pastries and drinks at very good prices; the place is close to Sóbanya and was a perfect one‑night stay.
“Alles Traumhaft, wie im Paradies !”
Beyond the gate, paradise unfolds—a beautifully laid‑out property with hospitality that can’t be topped, rooms lovingly restored with a historic touch, and meals prepared upon request; the whole visit felt like a dream.
“A beautiful welcoming guesthouse”
The beautiful garden, the delicious meals, and the chance to get to know the host, the staff, and other guests make this place a bit different: it’s not just a spot to spend the night after touring the area, but an opportunity to learn more about life in this part of Romania and share experiences with the host and other guests. I couldn’t find any negative points, honestly. Maybe the lack of AC could be an issue on very hot summer days, but fortunately we were there when the weather wasn’t too warm and our room was always cooler than outside.
“Place where you can taste local products”
The host is very friendly and welcoming; we only stayed one night but would definitely come back longer. The house boasts a lovely garden, and in the morning the host prepares breakfast from garden produce and other local items, which is delicious. Everything was excellent.
“Emese has created a gem of a place in rural Transylvania.”
I had a wonderful time with my kids, relaxing and exploring the garden, the home‑grown food, and the village life. Emese and her team were great and interesting hosts, making it an unforgettable experience.
