It seems that dozens of large buses bring Chinese tourists to this hotel every night. Located between central Bangkok and the airport, the hotel surprisingly offers good access to the city center, with a canal boat to the cit lom area and a bus to Chainatown. The staff provide excellent service. The hotel corridor and the first‑morning dining area are noisy every night because large groups arrive late.

I admit I should have read reviews more carefully, but this hotel simply wasn’t for us. The staff were lovely, helpful, and efficient. The hotel seems geared toward large tourist bus groups. The advertised “2 pools” turned out to be a single pool split into two depths, one for children, located on the ground level where the buses park. Our room had two double beds, but only one pillow per bed. The view from our window faced a block of residential units about 5 metres away, with balconies looking at us, so we kept the curtains closed. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place, just not the right fit for us.
