“Quaint jewel in Beaujolais region in really beautiful location run by fabulous couple with outstanding culinary talents.”
Le Clos des Fayettes sits in the Golden Stone region of Beaujolais, surrounded by private vineyards, and its picturesque, quiet, amazingly beautiful setting is unbeatable. The accommodation is an old French country farmhouse updated with spacious additions while keeping the unique, lovely, quaint vibe of the vineyards and nearby historic town buildings. The owner lives on site and is genuinely caring, ensuring your stay is the best it can be and offering helpful tips for day trips and meals elsewhere. We stayed here to be close to Lyon, the gastronomic centre of France, and found that this place was exactly where we needed to be for a truly French culinary experience. Marie‑Agnes is a remarkably talented hostess‑chef; breakfasts were great with many homemade items, and when I asked her to make roasted duck breast one night, it was the best I’ve ever had—don’t hesitate to request dinner specials. Eric, her husband, is like a brother, helping whenever possible. We look forward to another stay in the Beaujolais region at Le Clos des Fayettes. Thank you Marie‑Agnes and Eric for a wonderful ten days in Beaujolais. 🤩🥳🥰
