The owner was friendly. Just a few steps from West Lake. The area around the lodge has many conveniences. I’ll come back next time. Thank you very much!

I love how close the hostel is to the bus stop, West Lake, and all the nice cafés around.

Every time I visit Hanoi, this place is my go‑to; everything’s fine, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, plus West Lake is close by.

I booked a shared room with 6 beds, yet there were 8 beds, and it was already late and I was exhausted, so I just grabbed a bed. The AC was off at 3 a.m. and I couldn’t find the remote; the strong smell was overwhelming, so I left the homestay immediately. I was on the 3rd floor, but the toilet and shower were on the 2nd, there was no elevator, and in the middle of the night I had to get up to pee.

The staff were friendly, but paying 30k to park a bike outside the hostel is unacceptable and should be included in the property fee. I expected much more from a 220k hostel that’s so far from the city center. The owner was very friendly and offered me a different bed when I complained about the other room’s odor, but overall it doesn’t justify the price in my view.
