The main station is nearby, so the location is great. The facilities, cleanliness, and courteous staff are standard. If you’re looking for something more upscale, you should try elsewhere. But given the price, it’s a great deal. Travelers can use it as a base to explore, and it’s perfect for local residents who want a full‑night stay, so I’ll keep coming back. The hotel is busy with many foreign guests, so it can be noisy; keep that in mind. Also, the welcome shochu service in the lobby is nice, but when a banquet was held there a few times, the atmosphere was ruined.

The hotel is very close to the station, and the rooftop has a natural outdoor hot spring and a sauna. At 15:00 check‑in, there were not enough staff, so a long line formed. The rooms are a bit old, and the key system required a 10‑digit code; the language setting was English, which made it hard for an elderly Japanese couple to enter their room. My own key device ran out of battery, so I had to shuttle back and forth between the room and front desk late at night.

Being right next to Oita Station was convenient because there are lots of shops nearby, which was a plus. The hotel only has two elevators, so I ended up waiting more than expected.
