The pool. No signs on main road to tell you where the place was,it took the taxi that picked me up from airport over 1 hour to find it and thats when he stopped and asked someone who showed us the way

The entire house was a small living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and cooking there was convenient with most utilities available. The pool was great for a swim, and the beach was a 15–17 minute walk. The road to the hotel isn’t paved, so convincing tuk‑tuks to come was a bit tough. The staff were friendly and even shared salt and oil. The hotel feels outdated and shows no signs of renovation, so it can’t compete with larger hotels in Diani. The windows lacked mosquito nets and opened oddly, only partially, so the bed net didn’t help and we struggled to sleep most nights. There were no hand or foot towels and no soap, no bedside lamps and the white light was too strong. The shower heater was unsafe; it wasn’t isolated and the tap would shock you, so they told us to turn it on, wait, then shower, but the water would boil hot and then cool in a couple of minutes, forcing us to shower for only two minutes when it was tolerable.
