“Increíble rascacielos en Chunxi Road”

The rooms above floor 30 were spacious, modern, and comfortable with panoramic views of Chengdu, and the breakfast was very varied with great service; the hotel is at the end of Chunxi Road, so restaurants, shops, and nightlife are very close, and even the famous panda from the IFS building on Chunxi Road can be seen from the restaurant. There is a free tea time with many snacks, and the value for money is perfect. The only downside was that the breakfast, while varied, could have offered more Western options.

Posizione eccellente, molto comoda per Taikoo Li e per visitare Chengdu. L’hotel ha un design moderno e piacevole e il personale si è dimostrato disponibile quando abbiamo segnalato alcuni problemi. Nel complesso la posizione è sicuramente il suo punto di forza. Purtroppo la pulizia e lo stato di manutenzione generale dell’hotel lasciano parecchio a desiderare. Nella nostra camera era presente un forte e persistente odore di fumo e abbiamo dovuto chiedere un purificatore d’aria. Sulle pareti della camera erano chiaramente visibili manate e macchie di unto, oltre ad alcuni buchi e segni, decisamente poco accettabili per una struttura di questa categoria. La stessa scarsa attenzione alla pulizia era evidente anche nelle aree comuni: uno specchio presentava macchie e impronte molto evidenti che sono rimaste esattamente nello stesso stato per tutti e tre i giorni del nostro soggiorno, dando l’impressione di una manutenzione quotidiana piuttosto superficiale. Siamo inoltre rimasti molto sorpresi dall’assenza di una cassaforte in camera, una dotazione che considero basilare per un hotel di questo livello. La colazione non era inclusa nella nostra tariffa e non l’abbiamo provata. Un’ulteriore esperienza negativa ha riguardato l’agenzia di viaggi esterna che ci era stata indicata dall’hotel per organizzare la visita a Wolong: non ci è stato inviato il QR code necessario per l’ingresso e, una volta arrivati a destinazione, abbiamo avuto seri problemi per poter accedere, con conseguente perdita di tempo e stress. Pur trattandosi di un servizio esterno, essendo stato raccomandato direttamente dall’hotel ci saremmo aspettati maggiore affidabilità. Nel complesso, nonostante l’ottima posizione e un design gradevole, pulizia, manutenzione e cura della struttura non sono state assolutamente all’altezza delle nostre aspettative

“A hotel that i would go back to.”

The room was modern, clean, cleverly laid out, and offered plenty of space for luggage. The location was great, close to Taikoo Li and IFS, and there were many restaurants nearby. I wish the staff spoke some English; there was a hiccup when they informed me that breakfast was for one person even though I had booked for two in the room, but they helped sort it out. Breakfast had plenty of options, though the taste could have been better.
