The staff were extremely courteous, making it easy to request anything and feel at ease. The facilities were well-equipped, with bath salts and other enjoyable items, and a nearby convenience store meant I could grab anything I needed right away. However, some areas were not cleaned thoroughly, such as under the bed and between the sofa cushions.

The former love hotel had good baths and beds, and the spacious rooms were reasonably priced. The downside was the confusing directions to the room and the unclear layout of the facilities.

By Japanese standards the room is huge. The location is inconvenient for Takasaki, and the bed isn’t designed for sleeping, making it uncomfortable. It’s a love hotel, and they seem to enforce a rule that if you stay consecutive nights you must check‑out, take your luggage, and then re‑check‑in at the official time, which is unreasonable.
