“Süße inhabergeführte Pension”
A small, owner‑run pension in Berlin turned out exactly as we had imagined. Knowing it wasn’t a brand‑new hotel was clear from the description and other reviews. The rooms are huge, giving plenty of space for luggage and other belongings. The bed feels just right, neither too hard nor too soft. Every guest has a sink in their room, so you only need to head down the hallway to the shared bathroom for showers or toilets, which gets cleaned daily and is shared with two other rooms. Breakfast was delicious: a few rolls, a homemade cheese and sausage platter (with tomatoes! :D), orange juice, fresh coffee or tea, and if you wanted a boiled egg. Everything was tasty, so you can start the day well‑fueled. The owner chatted nicely with us at the beginning and generally cares about her guests. We’d love to return and definitely recommend it if you want a vacation away from the usual hotels.
