The overall vibe was good. The bathroom was very small and there was no water in the room.

The place is close to a grocery store. The room and bathroom are tiny. The decor is weird, kind of a surfer‑Tijuana vibe. The shower drain needed plumbing. The industrial part of town is noisy.

We were traveling with surfboards. There was a dedicated space to leave them and also to hang the neoprene suits.

The staff were lovely, the décor charming, the spot ideal for surfers, the bar well stocked, and the buffet breakfasts great. I can’t overstate how pleasant the owners were in letting my mum brew her own tea downstairs during breakfast. We had a nice chat with them and hugged them goodbye when we left.
