We stayed here a second time, and the staff were still friendly and kind. The location is brilliant, the riad itself is beautiful, and the shaded garden hammock was a relaxing touch.

We spent more than a week at Dar El Resk enjoying Maher’s hospitality. He spontaneously offered tasty Tunisian snacks, mint tea, and the courtyard feels like an oasis amid the sometimes hectic Medina of Tunis. Absolutely recommended. Nothing else, but you can easily get lost in the maze of narrow streets full of cats (garbage disposal is a challenge).

The riad is stunning with a shaded garden and hammock. The hosts even made us breakfast each morning, even though we hadn’t paid for it. It was a truly relaxing stay with friendly, kind hosts and a great location. Highly recommend.

The owner was very friendly and offered airport taxi service. The hotel is right in the heart of the medina.

The traditional Tunisian house vibe is great, and the staff’s kindness and welcome are remarkable. Every morning we were treated to warm croissants at breakfast, which I highly recommend. The narrow medina streets are tricky with luggage and often inaccessible by car to the base of the house; this is a problem of the medina itself, not the hotel.
