The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we were greeted with a delicious homemade welcome cake upon arrival. The place was very dog‑friendly, offering spare bowls, blankets, and treats for our pets. We used a dining area to eat take‑out from an outside restaurant. The only downside was the 10 am checkout, which is earlier than the usual 11 am, especially on a Sunday.

Parking was convenient on the property, yet the building sits on a lively street. The room wasn’t a deluxe, and the shower leaked. Initially, communication was a bit tough because they insisted on a video from us.

The location was great and parking was free on site. The room had tea/coffee making facilities and a comfortable bed. However, there were no surfaces at bedtime for putting away jewellery, phones, or bags, and the bathroom needs updating. The floor was uneven, the duvet cover and pillowcase felt a bit scratchy, and the TV remote was worn and hard to read. We only stayed overnight, so none of these issues affected us, and I’d still book there again for a night.

The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, with snacks and hot drinks available all the time. The staff were very helpful and friendly; their focus is on ensuring guests have a wonderful time rather than profit, and that shows. You stay in a chalet rather than the owner’s home, so it feels like your own house. Just note that there is no cooked breakfast, but the continental breakfast is great.

Great stay over considering it was the same day booking. Short walk to hotels along the beach. Large communal lounge area with afternoon tea provided. Comfy bed. The bathroom was a little pokey and bath slippery to stand in while showering
