Stayed two nights and it was a blast. The host was super friendly, even lugging our bags up and getting us a ride when it rained hard. They gave us cool tips about Dali, and the electric blanket and heater kept us cozy on those chilly nights. The location is spot‑on, close to the ancient town, night market, and a halal Lanzhou beef noodle joint that’s tasty and cheap. Met a few Indonesian travelers who were friendly too. Big thanks!

The hosts are nice and the hotel’s tucked away in the back of the building, so it’s quiet and peaceful. It’s close to the old town, which is great. Overall, it’s just okay.

The location’s solid – you can walk to the ancient city and a bunch of restaurants. The owner is kind and helped me out when I lost my passport and couldn’t get a driver to understand me because of the language barrier. Still, the room and facilities were a bit basic.
