The truthfulness and friendliness of the property were appreciated, but there’s something that needs fixing in the rooms of the first building: the bathroom feels a bit old with wood that needs maintenance.

Just arrived in Iriomote and found the nearby car‑rental company closed, missing the bus. The owner kindly met us at the port, then took us to rent a car. On the way back, needing to catch a ferry, the owner drove us to the port at 7 o’clock; I’m very grateful for her help, letting a family of five move smoothly. The only downside was the lack of bottled water, forcing us to buy our own, and the convenience store was only reachable by car.

The location right in front of the beach is unbeatable.

The building isn’t brand new but is very spacious and clean, and from the room you can see the popular beach of Iriomote from edge to edge, watching both sunrise and sunset from the balcony; the beach is just a few minutes away. The night sky full of stars was also lovely. The restaurant food was truly delicious—fresh island organic vegetables and tasty enzyme drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were no negative points.

The location is great and the price is cheap, but the facilities feel old and there are almost no amenities, especially no pajamas—bring a T‑shirt and shorts just in case.
