Paul, the manager, took excellent care of us. He offered to accompany us for a day to various activities. Together we visited potters, met his family who invited us warmly for lunch, and toured his coffee plantation at the beautiful campsite by Lake Kivu. The day ended with a sunset boat trip to Napoleon Island. It was a fully successful and exciting day. Thank you for everything, Paul!

This homestay feels like home. The staff member is a thoughtful and kind young boy, still a student working hard during holidays, which impressed me. We had great conversations and he taught me a lot about local culture. He went out of his way to arrange transport to Bisesero Memorial and negotiate a good price for my Lake Kivu boat tour. The host was considerate and checked on me often even when he couldn’t be present for check‑in. Thanks to his tip, I discovered a fantastic hiking trail more beautiful than the Congo‑Nile Trail. Highly recommended for travellers in Kibuye.

Very friendly and very clean. The breakfast was amazing! Only a 2‑minute walk from the bus station. The hallway is quite echo‑y, so it’s very noticeable when people talk or come up the stairs.

It is a very lovely place. The owner will help you as much as possible. I had internet problems, but they were solved immediately. It’s a local area but very safe and near the bus station. The breakfast was amazing. Within 10 minutes you can reach the perfect restaurant “Kivu Coffee Cup”. I also received an update of my room. No AC or fan in the room.
