The cleanliness was spot‑on, and the bathroom was brand new. During certain times of day, parking was hard to find, just like all of Genoa.

Getting to the city centre by bus was easy. The room was nicely arranged and just enough for a short stay. It’s very tough to find free parking near the accommodation.

The place was clean, the air conditioning was great, and coffee, water, and chamomile were available for guests. The beds were too soft and the pillows too high. The room was only available from 15:00.

The welcome at the property was good, and it was handy to find water already in the fridge and coffee ready to go. The phone worked well and was discreet. The air conditioner was in excellent condition. The room’s furnishings and the unpleasant smell inside right after entering were off. The view was of a derelict, abandoned building, and there was no parking nearby.

Pros: * Great location, with easy access to the city and nearby attractions. * Communication was excellent. The lady who I believe owns the place was very friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of great recommendations on places to visit, how to use public transport, things to do, etc. * The apartment is small, but it’s well organised and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is also surprisingly spacious. * They asked if we needed cleaning, only after one day (out of two total) staying, and that was a really positive surprise. And a big plus is parking space!. The towels had a strong smell of cleaning chemicals, possibly bleach, which was a bit unpleasant. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if we visit Genoa again
