The setting is amazing, surrounded by a very pleasant natural environment where we could hear birds and frogs at night, making it calm and restorative. The room matched the photos and the owner was very friendly, offering various travel tips. We didn’t have hot water for two days—though it was warm outside, so we managed, and we were relieved when the water temperature was acceptable after returning from a cenote the last night. There was no functional Wi‑Fi, which was actually a relief for disconnecting but a bit inconvenient because we had to plan the rest of our stay and book activities.
The peaceful surroundings and spotless cleanliness of this place made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was serene and calming, and we felt perfectly at ease during our stay.
We loved the spacious rooms, but the lack of cleaning service for stays longer than one night was a bit of a letdown. It would have been nice to have someone come in to tidy up and change the sheets.
“La mejor estancia en México”
This was the best accommodation on our trip to Mexico—a nature‑filled oasis with hospitality and amenities. The owner makes you feel like family, assists with everything you need, and offers more than expected. If you’re worried about the distance to Valladolid, it’s minimal. We disconnected and got to know the local life, experiencing pure Mexican magic.
“Would come back”
This place is a hidden gem, surrounded by lush greenery that immediately sets the tone for a relaxing getaway. The room was spacious and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped and clean. With a car, it's easy to explore the nearby cenotes, city, and more. Gracie, the host, is a treasure trove of interesting stories and great recommendations. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to unwind and recharge.
