The room was lovely in a fantastic house, and it was really close to the train station, restaurants, the beach, and shops. The bathroom had a magnifying mirror, and there was an iron and ironing board that were thoughtful touches.

I had a great time at The Rooms in Lytham. When I arrived, Andy, the host, greeted me and before showing me to my room offered a complimentary drink—tea, coffee, or wine—so I chose a glass of rosé, which was a lovely touch and a great start to my visit. The Rooms sits right in the centre of Lytham with many individual shops nearby. Louise was ready in the dining room to take my breakfast order, and though I was unsure what to pick from such a tempting menu, I eventually had poached eggs on toast, which were beautifully presented and delicious. I can't forget the bedroom, which had everything I needed, and the super‑sized King bed was a big wow—clearly a lot of care went into choosing such a comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. A big thank you to Andy and Louise for making me feel so comfortable; I’ll definitely see you both again.
