“Our host was great and very welcoming”
I loved the old‑style Japanese home; the location offers a fantastic view over the Bay. There was nothing I didn’t like.

They stocked organic shampoo, coffee, and other items, which I appreciated. The owner was very kind, and since he’s also a yoga instructor, soothing music played, healing tuning forks were set up, and oracle cards were available—quite intriguing! The nighttime barbecue in the garden had a great vibe and felt very calming. The ocean view from the room and garden was exciting. The only downside was that the old house, located on a slightly hilltop, had centipedes and ants inside; I tolerated it, but people who dislike insects might feel disappointed. It’s probably fine for camp enthusiasts.

The kids were thrilled, even saying they wanted to live there forever, and the whole family had a great time. Above all, the owner’s warm personality and thoughtful care were deeply appreciated. I’d love to visit again; it was a fantastic stay. There were no negatives.
