I never got my 10 % discount applied – that’s ridiculous! I was charged €300 instead of €270, and after sending two emails with no reply, I’m demanding this be fixed on my next booking.

The reservation was cancelled. No service. A three‑week reservation is cancelled and no help is offered.

Nothing! We booked through Booking with a discount, got confirmation via email, but when we arrived the reception told us the site had been hacked by scammers and our booking was invalid. It was already late and we had nowhere else to go, so they handed us a room for €160. The room was the worst ever: an old room probably renovated twenty years ago, a dusty fridge that whined all night without turning on, a 12‑inch TV that didn’t work, and a clogged bathtub. Horrible! After a long chat with a Booking operator for about 30 minutes, he promised the money would be refunded, but then an email said sorry, but Booking’s policy doesn’t allow refunds. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, and Booking isn’t for people either.

The location near the Waldbühne was key, plus the parking options and proximity to the gastronomy were great. The downside was the room’s location and the street noise coming through the windows.
