The location is fine; it looks a bit sketchy, but the place is just a short walk to the city centre and we had no trouble during our stay. The accommodation offers only the bare minimum, the room hygiene is questionable, and there were small maintenance issues.
“Funzionale”
The area is perfect for anyone who wants to visit Catania in the centre on foot and without hassle. The hostel/room is essential and minimal but functional for one or a few nights. The overall experience in the complex was positive. Unfortunately the room was not spotless and there was an unbearable sewage smell in the bathroom that I don’t think is directly caused by the property but it ruined the night spent there. Also, keep in mind that at the room price (for those with a car) the parking costs 25€ per day.

The room size is perfect, comfortable. Everything was quite clean and the location ideal. Almost perfect, I highly recommend going. Just a few small details to make it a ten: the toilet had no lid, the kitchen lacked basic supplies like a sponge, salt, or other essentials that aren’t worth buying a package for one or two nights. Also, there is a washing machine, which is very convenient, but there is no soap, which I won’t buy a bottle for one or two washes. Everything else is perfect.
