The interior was freshly renovated and looks great. We stayed with two elementary‑school kids and the family loved the hanging sofa‑like piece. We were four, but the table was narrow and only two chairs were provided; a folding chair would have been fine.

The place is clean and close to the train station. There’s no lift, so carrying a big suitcase is a bit of a struggle.

The room was tidy, very close to the subway, a supermarket, and a Seven‑Eleven. The area is quiet, with only distant train noise. There’s a washer and a dryer that accept 100‑yen coins for guests (they’re outside the room). The beds are comfortable. The host isn’t on site but replies quickly to messages. The room had a damp smell (maybe the new tatami). The table had only two chairs for four guests, so everyone couldn’t sit at once. A lockbox and towel hooks would help. Overall, I’d recommend it.

The location is ideal, with the JR train station nearby and easy movement around Tokyo. Supermarkets and convenience stores are close. The space wasn’t very large and the facilities were a bit neglected, but the price‑quality ratio is good for Tokyo.

The spot is near the subway and a Seven‑Eleven on the passage, 25 minutes from Ikebukuro. They answered all messages but weren’t on site. There were no drinking glasses. Kitchen equipment was limited (they brought us mugs). No hooks to dry towels in the bathroom. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator.
