The spot was nice and close to the beach. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Traveling solo, I felt safe and at home. Nothing else to add.

We checked in at Weligama Watergate on 27 July and had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were especially kind in assisting my daughter with the Wi‑Fi password, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly recommend Weligama Watergate for its spacious, clean rooms and welcoming staff. The only small drawback was the shower: the overhead square shower lacked a bit of water pressure, but it was a minor issue that didn’t affect our stay.
