“I would never stay here again”

The room was good, with a decent fridge, good storage, and two throws, but the noise from the main road and the loud chatter at the 24‑hour café below kept me from sleeping all night, the bathroom was tiny and barely usable, toilet paper wasn’t refilled (I had to buy my own), coffee sachets were inconsistently stocked (only decaf one day, regular coffee other days), the power outlets were different, and there was no corkscrew.

The location was ideal, the apartment spacious, and the price especially attractive; the bathroom/toilets were private but located just outside the apartment next door, which is fine for me but worth noting.

The place sits nicely near the station, the park and the historic centre, and the room is big enough for three people. We arrived late at night, did the self‑check‑in, and found the door ajar because the lock was broken. The host knew about it but didn’t warn us beforehand and left us a cheap padlock that was just nailed to the door with plastic nails—totally useless. We called the host right away, but he just said, “Don’t worry, there are cameras outside” and “ask for a refund.” The next morning at 8:00 a man woke us up to replace the padlock with another one that was just as ineffective. I keep asking: why wasn’t the problem mentioned earlier? Why wasn’t proper help offered? Why tell us to request a refund when Booking can’t grant it without your approval, which never happened?

“Soggiorno piacevole, raccomandato per permanenze brevi”

The location is amazing for getting to Stazione Leopolda, the Maggio Musicale, and other spots. The private bathroom is outside the room, which isn’t the most comfortable.

Everything was perfect, great spot. I just wish I could have stayed longer.
