Yangshuo County Rice Field Resort Hotel

Paddy Fields Resort became one of the most beautiful memories of our trip to Yangshuo. We stayed in a stunning 270° panoramic mountain-view room, and waking up surrounded by those incredible landscapes honestly felt like a dream. The room was modern, spotless, beautifully maintained, and everything felt fresh and new. The swimming pool is free for hotel guests, and the water is so crystal clear that you almost don’t realize how deep it is. What truly makes this place special, however, is the hospitality. The staff helped us discover the best things to do in Yangshuo and were always ready to make our stay more comfortable. A special thank you to Mr. Tony at the front desk — his English is excellent, and he is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and we also loved the complimentary local fruits and drinks offered to guests. The location is magical as well. The river is right nearby, and a boat station is only a few minutes away. Cruising along the river surrounded by the mountains of Yangshuo became one of the most atmospheric moments of my life. It was our first visit to Yangshuo, and I am so happy we chose Paddy Fields Resort. In terms of cleanliness, comfort and service, it can easily compete with excellent five-star hotels abroad. I would absolutely stay here again

“Все отлично”

The view from the room is simply incredible: waking up every morning and seeing those famous karst mountains is a separate pleasure. Special thanks to the staff. They created a separate WeChat chat for us, where we could write any questions that arose. I was pleasantly surprised by their attention to details: every day a basket of fruit was brought to the room, and upon departure we were given a gift with rice, noodles, and sauce.

“Great for families”

We had the biggest room with 270 degree views which was amazing, and they made our anniversary celebration a wonderful experience. Staff was very friendly but doest speak English it seems. The lobby was very messy and not a-par with the room. The breakfast wasn’t good

The view from the window. Downsides – location. The hotel’s exterior and entrance group do not match the claimed 5 stars. No communication with guests, the hotel’s name on the site and reality differ. Calling the hotel, staff do not answer and do not help with issues. Wi‑Fi worked a few hours until we left the room, the TV also didn’t work, a staff member came and supposedly fixed it, but the next morning nothing worked again. Complete lack of concierge, taxi service, and app communication. Two roads nearby, not mentioned in the room description, local houses nearby are very noisy. All this makes the stay extremely uncomfortable. The room we paid for because of the view had fogged windows and dirt on the glass in the morning, and after returning from a tour the situation didn’t change. Plumbing is old, leaking, with yellow stains on the sink, the tap doesn’t work, temperature control is almost impossible, either boiling water or ice. The bathroom curtain is dirty, with yellow stains and blood spots. Breakfast couldn’t be evaluated because the restaurant hours are from 8 to 10 a.m.! which is very limited. I do not recommend the hotel for that price. It’s a maximum of 3 stars.

“Otimo”

I loved the location, the view is beautiful! The hotel is comfortable, the room is wonderful. The only reservation is the access to our room that shows the neighboring construction and has a lot of garbage. They should hide the view.
