Located 300 metres from a white-sand beach, the Pelican Bay Hotel features 3 outdoor pools, lush gardens, and a bar-restaurant overlooking Bell Channel Harbour. Spacious colonial-style rooms have private balconies with sea views, cable TV, mini-fridges, and coffee makers. The hotel's Sabor bar-restaurant serves signature cocktails and fusion cuisine, while Bone's Bar offers marina views and cocktails.

The location was great, and both cleanliness and staff were awesome. I didn’t like that breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate.

The hotel is in a fairly convenient spot; although it’s not right on the beach, it’s a 10‑minute walk to a nice beach (we found it windy so we couldn’t enjoy it fully). The hotel offers a free boat shuttle that runs hourly to Taino Beach, which is also nice. Even better beaches, at least from my experience in bad weather, are Fortuna and Banana Bay, about a 10‑minute taxi ride (roughly $20). The staff are very kind, and overall the hotel is well kept, clean, quiet, and everyone is friendly. Just a 5‑minute walk from the hotel is an outdoor shopping center that comes alive in the evening with a few bars, restaurants, and music. I liked everything; ideally I’d also want a shuttle to the other beaches I mentioned, but that would be an extra thing—overall I really liked everything.
