The hosts were warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in guests. Henk makes the best pancakes at breakfast, and the setting is idyllic and peaceful.

The host couple were very friendly, the location quiet, and the blinds on the windows effectively blocked light. The room was spacious, featuring a bed and a couch, and was thoughtfully furnished with a comfortable bed. Parking was right outside the house. The bathroom was large with a shower, and the breakfast was tasty. However, both guest rooms share one bathroom, and the breakfast table is shared with other guests, which can feel a bit intrusive. I didn’t mind, but it’s worth knowing that the shared bathroom and breakfast table are part of the experience.

The personal welcome was very pleasant, and the room was large and well equipped. The location is quiet and relaxed—perfect for enjoying some peace, with only the occasional sheep bleating audible. It’s a great base for cycling and hiking. Breakfast was tasty, especially the pancakes. The bed was too soft for us, so we kept slipping into each other, and we shared the bathroom (though we were aware of that).

The calm, picturesque setting between forest and hills was surprisingly lovely, and the family room was very appealing and comfortable. Breakfast, featuring homemade pancakes baked by the chef himself, was fantastic! Watching the morning run of the resident sheep to the pasture was the perfect finishing touch. Unfortunately, over 20 mosquitoes managed to get in without our intervention, which was a bit of a nuisance. 😬
