The Discovery Parks - Whyalla Foreshore boasts direct beach access and self-contained accommodation with microwaves and tea/coffee making facilities. Located 10 minutes from Whyalla Domestic Airport, it offers free parking. Air-conditioned rooms feature seating/dining areas, large TVs, and some have DVD players. Laundry facilities, undercover barbecue areas, and Wi-Fi access are available. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Ayda Ryan Gardens and 1 hour from Port Augusta.

I loved that I could step straight out my door onto the beach, and there was nothing to criticize.

The place is self‑contained and easy to walk around, but the door would shut on me while I was leaving the swipe inside.

We paid extra for the sea view and it was worth it; this is our fourth visit and the hotel is beautiful. I just wish I could have stayed longer.
