The location is good, the staff are friendly, the food is fine, and the rooms are decent. However, the sauna area was very inadequate, smelled musty, and therefore unusable.

We trekked along the Green Band and were greeted with great warmth. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding, and the value for money was excellent – no wish was left unmet.

The sauna, restaurant, and rooms were all good. The hallway was very dark.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and every request was fulfilled. The location is absolutely superb, with several hiking trails right outside. Walking to Sorge gives you a connection to the narrow‑gauge railway. It’s also completely quiet – the name “Auszeit” fits perfectly!
