The building has a lot of character because it’s very old, and it’s just a stone’s throw from the Griffin Pup, which offers a great selection of beers. There isn’t much to dislike; I greatly appreciated my stay.

The location and the uniqueness of the property were highlights. I’m quite tall, so the shower and bath were small, but it was fine because the house was so unique.

We were walking the Heart of England Way, so the location was convenient. The nearby pub only served lunch, forcing us to walk over a mile to another pub for dinner; after a long day that was unexpected.

We received a very warm welcome, and all housekeeping procedures were clearly explained. The house and its surroundings are historic with plenty to see. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped, though in some parts the ceilings were a bit low, as is typical for buildings of this age. Breakfast was excellent. Visitors with mobility issues might have trouble reaching the upper‑floor rooms.
