The guesthouse is lovely, within easy walking distance of the ocean and town, and even the airport is about 1 mile away on dusty roads; the pool and landscaping are beautiful, and the staff assisted with tours, yet the self‑serve drink fridge only offered soda or beer, and I would have liked fresh juice.

The place was absolutely delightful, with hosts who helped with everything from flights to restaurant recommendations; the rooms were well equipped and comfortable, the pool area was peaceful, and right on the beach there was a taco and cocktail spot—perfect! Nothing negative at all.

The setting, Victorian style, beautiful garden, and lovely pool were all great; the room was a bit more spacious than expected.

Tyra was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were nicely decorated, and the outdoor facilities were very pleasant, but the room and bathroom had a musty smell—probably from the drain—and the air‑conditioner made a lot of noise, so we avoided using it at night because our room was right next to the external motor; the stay was a bit farther from the center, but that didn’t bother us.
