The blinds over the windows were broken, making the place dark and dingy. They advertised a breakfast that wasn’t there, only cheap pastries and a strange orange‑colored drink that wasn’t orange juice.

I would have given it zero stars if that were possible. The place was filthy, with thick dust on the blinds and ants in the kitchen. Some kitchen drawers held garbage, the bathroom towel rack was bent and cracked but still hanging, and the beds were so cheap I could feel every spring. The TV was broken, and the desk guy tried to fix it but failed; he even brought a unit from another room, which also didn’t work. Wi‑Fi was unusable on our phones and the 4G/5G signal was poor. One bedroom’s light switch and the thermostat had exposed wires because their covers were missing. We booked for two nights but left after one due to the disgusting conditions. We asked for a refund for the second night directly at the inn; after a brief conversation they stopped answering calls and emails. We then tried contacting the owners, who also ignored us. Eventually we received a full refund from our credit card company after sending them photos of all the issues. If you must stay here, document everything—you’ll need proof to recover your money. I can’t fathom how this place passes health and safety inspections. To top it off, the everyday manager parked across the handicapped spot and the adjacent loading zone in front of the building.

The spot was great, but traffic noise was a bit loud. The room was roomy and had a fridge, stove, and other appliances, which was nice. The building had an older, neat charm. It felt stuffy, and the staff seemed annoyed and not very helpful or friendly. A clearer plan for updating the place while keeping its old charm might make it more comfortable for guests.

I liked how close it was to the places we needed to be at. I just wish there was a bit more variety at the continental breakfast, but it was fine. Also I would have liked a slightly larger TV, but again… it was fine.

The location is fine. The staff were rude, the hotel was rundown, and the TV didn’t work.
