“Great budget option right in Ella town”

Great spot and a terrace for breakfast, hot water is good, room is large with a comfy mattress. A kettle in the room would help, one room had a slight mouldy smell (common in Sri Lanka). Bathroom is clean with hot water. No air‑con but Ella was cool enough not to need it.

“Tolle Lage, große Zimmer”

The rooms are huge and the balcony is lovely. We slept very well. The location is perfect for quick access to the city center while still being quiet. The laundry service was super fast. The hotel staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The laundry service was a bit pricier than the street service, but it was super quick. We were allowed to put balcony furniture on our balcony, which would have been nice if it had been there already, and there was trash on the corner of the balcony—neighbors are a bit odd… I know the owner can’t control it, but it was our experience that someone was loudly drunk in the courtyard at night. When we asked him to keep it down, we were insulted. I’m really sorry that the neighbor ruined the hotel business.

I was impressed by the view, but the beds refused to split even though that was promised in the booking. When I asked—our group had requested it—the staff replied that everyone usually sleeps as is and that they never had to adjust.
