Located 10 minutes' walk from San Francisco's Ocean Beach, Ocean Inn offers guest rooms with free WiFi and amenities including flat-screen TVs with HBO, refrigerators, microwaves, and private bathrooms with hairdryers. The motel features free limited parking and a 24-hour reception. The N-Judah/SFMTA tram stop is across the street, providing service to downtown San Francisco, and the Lincoln entrance to Golden Gate Park is a 2-minute drive away.

The room was clean with updated decor, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good, but it sat above a bar with loud music and I had to use earplugs – the only time I've stayed in a room that required them.

No elevator, but it’s right by the beach and the MUNI N‑Judah train, a laundromat is just around the corner, it’s directly to downtown, a bus stop a block away takes you to Stonestown for the mall and varied shopping, and there’s a big TV.

The location, being near the beach and Golden Gate Park, was ideal. The neighborhood is friendly. The two cafes within a couple of blocks were excellent, as was the Fish restaurant. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The tv afforded ample choices for enjoyable viewing. The noise level was a bit disturbing, between the bar downstairs and the N-Judah, Saturday night can get pretty noisy. Carrying luggage up and down two flights of stairs is a bit much for a 75 year old woman. The bathroom was a bit crowded - there should be more counter space or shelving for personal items. Staff were very responsive to our needs

The location was excellent, and the king‑size room was huge with massive windows overlooking Judah that let in a ton of light. The only issue was the lack of surfaces—no counter space in the bathroom and only a single desk in the bedroom that was already half full with a coffee maker and ice bucket.
