“A very pleasant and memorable stay in a charming hotel with a lot of history and character.”
We enjoyed a lovely two‑night stay at Tammisaaren Kaupunginhotelli. Though the hotel is old, the rooms and common areas were in excellent, well‑kept condition. The elevator made a lot of noise, but it didn’t bother us. Breakfast was superb, offering everything one could want. This place holds personal significance for me—almost exactly 29 years ago, my now‑wife and I celebrated our engagement here with a wonderful meal. Returning after all these years added a special meaning to our visit. The elevator was noisy, yet it didn’t really disturb us.

The hotel seemed to be in the twilight of its life; it was disappointing to see the banquet hall's chairs lifted from the tables and removed. I’m not sure if it was due to the time of year or a quieter season.
