I appreciated the staff’s thoughtfulness and the fact that there seemed to be no foreign tourists around. The many stairs and the door lock gave me some concern.

I loved the breakfast here, it was delicious, and the location was perfect too. The hot spring wasn't that great, but overall it was okay.

The hot spring bath was a highlight for me, but that's about it. The futon was like a cracker, and they didn't provide a thick mattress like I expected. The dinner was pretty meh, except for the mackerel sashimi and vegetable stir-fry. And don't even get me started on the breakfast - just perilla on my congee?

I really liked the hotel's location and the staff were super friendly and kind. The room was huge and I could chill out, even though the hotel itself is pretty old. The bathroom and toilet were a bit of a letdown, though - they were old and cramped.
