“Unfreundliche Gastgeber, Unsauber, Parkplatz gleich Spielplatz”
The dinner was okay. The place was extremely dirty! What bothered us most was that on the first morning we were told we couldn’t bring our small women’s backpack and a small men’s bag into the breakfast area. Because the safe was tiny, we kept our phones and valuables in our own hands. We were initially shocked and thought it was a joke from the hotelier. We offered to let him check the small backpack and men’s bag if we left the breakfast room. During that conversation he didn’t even bother to come to us – he sat a few meters away at a table and answered, saying, “No, the bags stay outside and I don’t feel like checking them.” That was how he spoke and barely looked at us. We were speechless at this rudeness. We ended the terrible discussion. We took our wallets, phones, and keys out of the bags and carried them in our hands to the table. We brought the bags up. In this hotel guests are accused of stealing. Very bizarre, especially since the breakfast buffet was already very clear and not particularly good. What was the point of bringing anything there? Above the small table where the bread basket was placed, we also saw the note that bags and backpacks were forbidden in the breakfast room. Now we had to carry our valuables individually to breakfast every day or get a transparent fruit bag. If we hadn’t booked beforehand, we would definitely have left the hotel and found a better place. Other guests were allowed to bring their much larger handbags, etc. Very bizarre!!
